Cops have found £315,000 worth of cannabis plants in Paisley

Police Scotland officers have recovered a large quantity of cannabis plants from a property in Paisley.

Around 5.20pm yesterday, police searched premises in Well Street under warrant.

Cannabis plants – with an estimated street value of £315,000 – were seized from the property and a 22-year-old man has been arrested.

Detective Inspector Stevie Elliot from Greater Glasgow Serious and Organised Crime said: “This substantial recovery emphasises our commitment to disrupting drug activity and supply within our communities.
